Our story

Copper Goose Tech started from a familiar frustration: a connection slows down, and there’s no way to tell whether it’s your router, your Wi-Fi, or your ISP without guessing, restarting things at random, or sitting on hold with support. Consumer speed-test tools show you a number in the moment, but they don’t tell you what to do with it. We built Copper Goose Network Monitor to close that gap — a desktop tool that watches your connection continuously and gives you an actual verdict: is this fault local, or is it upstream with your ISP.

Who’s behind it

Copper Goose Tech is a team of independent software developers who wanted to alleviate the frustration when the network misbehaves, and avoid unnecessary surprises when bandwidth is limited. Copper Goose Network Monitor is how we solve that — a Windows desktop app built end-to-end to run quietly in the background with minimal resource usage.

What we believe

A monitoring tool should tell you what to do next, not just draw a graph and leave the diagnosis to you. We’d rather ship one feature that gives a real answer than ten that just add more charts. And a one-time purchase should mean exactly that — no subscription, no recurring charge.

We take the same approach with your privacy: we only collect what’s strictly needed to run the app and verify your license — nothing more. That data is never sold, and it’s not shared with anyone outside of delivering the app and your license to you. Full detail is in our EULA.
