What changed in each version. The app tells you when a new one is out, or use Check for Updates in its tray menu. Download the current version.

3.19.175 October 2026

  • Upload slow is caught on fast lines as well: two agreeing readings from the line's own upload test raise it, and it clears the moment the uplink is back or your own upload runs at the usual.
  • A new fast line is learned on the first quiet moment, instead of waiting for a big download.
  • The line's upload test runs only when both test servers read the upload low, so a test server having a slow moment no longer costs a test a day.
  • While your ISP's equipment is still answering, a dead line reads “No response past your router” rather than sending you to the fibre box; on a phone hotspot, Back online says the phone's mobile data was the fault; a laptop carried away from its hotspot phone keeps “Hotspot connection unstable - move closer”.
  • A router that answers every DNS query itself is read as one resolver, so a slow spell names the router. The connection checks cannot be answered by a cache along the way.
  • The Unique Code window carries the app's banner.
  • Starts on a freshly installed Windows, with nothing else needed.

3.19.1530 September 2026

  • A new version is announced within the hour of its release. The app used to look once a day.
  • Check line capability shows your learned upload on every line, fast ones included, and a plan cut for good is picked up for upload as well as download.
  • Check line capability reads your line more reliably. It uses both test servers over a few rounds and shows one figure it can stand behind, so a test server having a slow moment is no longer blamed on your router or ISP.
  • The learned line speed is confirmed by an internet test before it goes up, so a file copy between machines in your house no longer counts as your line. When a plan is cut for good, the learned speed follows it down.
  • Waking from sleep is never counted as an outage.
  • An update no longer switches Start with Windows back on if you had turned it off, and the app reopens by itself after an update.

3.19.0928 September 2026

  • Data limit with the day your plan resets, and a line that says how many days until you hit it. The window comes to the front at 80% and at 100%.
  • Check line capability: a proper test of your line, and how much of the plan you pay for you're getting.
  • Line report by month: how much of the time you were up, outages, worst hours.
  • Report for ISP: a plain 30-day list of outages on their side, ready to send.
  • History shows which programs used the data.
  • Back online notice saying how long you were down and whose fault it was. Two faults at once are named on two rows.
  • Updates install from inside the app. Check for Updates offers the new version, checks it against its published checksum and its signature by Copper Goose Tech, installs it and reopens the app. After an update, a “What's new” link in the corner of the panel brings you here, once.
  • About in the tray menu: the version you're running, the website, and an email address for support.
  • Export report asks plainly whether you want a text file or a zip for support. Cancel really cancels.
